A few common questions.

Does it tell me exactly where a piece fits?

No. Puzzle Pointer suggests an approximate area on the complete artwork for you to inspect. It doesn’t confirm an exact match or physical fit.

Will it work with every puzzle?

No. Puzzle Pointer needs usable complete puzzle artwork and may not support every puzzle or edition. The catalogue covers selected puzzles; there is no universal puzzle database.

What counts as a search?

A completed search with a matched area uses one search. A suggestion, a no-match result, or a processing error doesn’t use one.

What happens after my three free searches?

You can keep your saved puzzle information or choose the optional $6.99/month plan for 50 searches per billing month. Unused searches don’t roll over. Purchases, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Apple.

What happens to the photos I submit?

Photos are sent to process your search. The Privacy Policy explains what Puzzle Pointer handles, how long it is kept, and how to delete your private data.
